Anne Hedde
President and CEO
Anne, an integral part of Lightspeed Research since its inception, was instrumental in moving the Company from its development stage to the commercial operating enterprise we see today. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
Anne has 20 years of experience in executive management and finance in various roles including operations, administration and investment banking. She has worked in both the public and private sectors for U.S.-based and international firms. Her expertise in developing business strategies and managing client relationships provides Lightspeed Research with a strong commercial client focus.
In addition to her responsibilities at Lightspeed Research, Anne is President of IMRO (Interactive Marketing Research Organization), a worldwide association of researchers dedicated to providing an open forum for discussing best practices and ethical approaches to research conducted via the Internet, and on the Board of Directors of the Marketing Research Association (MRA). She is also an Advisory Board Member of the MSMR (Masters of Science in Marketing Research) program at the University of Texas at Arlington. She holds an MBA from that institution and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Prior to joining Lightspeed Research, Anne managed the financial functions of five diverse divisions, including mergers and acquisitions for strategic growth, at the Associates Corporation (now a division of Citibank). She also worked with Princeton Venture Research, an investment banking firm, as an analyst and with International Schools Services, where she managed the Foundations Management operations group and the company's finance function.
Bonnie Breslauer
Managing Director, North America
Bonnie joined Lightspeed Research in April 2001, bringing 15 years of marketing research experience to the firm. In her role as Managing Director, Bonnie is responsible for Sales and Operations in North America. She is a member of Lightspeed Research's Executive Team and Strategy Team, helping to guide strategic decisions for the company.
Prior to joining Lightspeed Research, Bonnie worked for major full service marketing research suppliers including TNS, The M/A/R/C Group, and Maritz Marketing Research. Her background is highly broad based in custom research techniques and market research consulting. She is a strong proponent of the Quality arena having specialized in the design and implementation of Customer Relationship Management programs. In this capacity, she assisted client organizations in their efforts to transition to a customer centric culture and integrate the voice of the customer into business processes and daily practices.
Prior to her tenure in the marketing research industry, Bonnie worked in advertising representing Ziff Davis computer publications such as PC Magazine and PC Week.
Bonnie has had a long-standing involvement in the AMA serving as co-chair and committee member of major conferences. She also participates in other industry associations including CASRO, MRA, and ARF. She is a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington D.C., where she holds a B.S.B.A. in Marketing/Management and Sociology. She has also completed a program of international business study at Oxford University.
Andrew Cayton
SVP Business Development, Europe
As SVP Business Development, Europe, Andrew works closely with research, PR and advertising agencies and consultancies to introduce rapid, reliable online "access" and "custom" panel research programmes to their European clients. He is also working directly with corporate clients to help them improve their data collection methods through the introduction of appropriate and actionable online research.
Andrew is a marketing professional with a broad range of business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience. This includes helping to develop research/analytical, database management and direct/interactive marketing programmes for companies within the IT, Internet, telecom and finance industries across Europe.
Prior to joining Lightspeed Research, Andrew was instrumental in growing Hi-Tech Marketing, a small privately owned research and marketing services business, from 10 employees to 120 plus employees before selling the business to Harte-Hanks. For the last 3 years, at Harte-Hanks, Andrew led a sales team who sold fully integrated research and marketing services to help European "blue chip" companies gain, retain and develop their customer base.
Andrew was awarded a bursary place on the Masters in Marketing course at Bristol Business School and also received a BSc degree in Geography at Plymouth University. He was the first postgraduate to be awarded a distinction and also successfully passed both the Market Research Society (MRS) and Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) diplomas. Andrew is also a full member of the MRS.
Mark Galgano
Chief Technology Officer
Mark has fourteen years of experience in technology and executive management in such capacities as Technology Administration, Operations and Strategic Planning.
Most recently, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer of Trilogy Capital Management, an institutional investment management firm, and founded Trilogy Market Technology Group, L.L.C. - Trilogy Capital's research and software development arm, where he managed the re-implementation of all technical support systems including the front-office trading, back-office accounting, client reporting, and portfolio research systems.
Mark also co-founded Princeton Internet Group (PInG), an award winning Internet/Intranet consulting and development services company, recognized as one of the East Coast's premier e-consulting firms. In the capacity of Principal and Chief Technology Officer, Mark was responsible for managing and overseeing PInG's technical vision and resource management. He also contributed extensively to business development with such clients as AT&T, Bell Atlantic Mobile and Engelhard.
Mark received a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematical Science from the University of Delaware.
Chris Stevens
Chief Operations Officer
Chris joined Lightspeed Research in September 2000 to set up the company's European Research and Panel Operations. Currently, in his role as Chief Operations Officer, Chris has a global responsibility for Research Operations, Research Technology, Panel Operations, and Training and Development. He has also led Lightspeed Research's "Research on Research" initiatives and has presented at the European Society for Opinion & Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
Chris began his career in market research in 1986 and brings extensive knowledge and expertise to Lightspeed Research in panel design, research design, weighting, and quality management.
Prior to joining Lightspeed Research, Chris was a Research Director at Taylor Nelson Sofres, where he was responsible for a number of global telecommunications and IT research programs in both the business and consumer markets.
Before this, he was Head of the Research Department at GfK Marketing Services in the UK, where he oversaw research matters for all consumer and retail panels.
Chris has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from King's College, London.
Christopher Urinyi
Chief Financial Officer
Chris is responsible for all aspects of Lightspeed Research's financial performance and leads strategy development within the company. He joined Lightspeed Research in January 2001 as the Director of Strategy, responsible for strategic planning, internal financial reporting and analysis, and pricing. Prior to joining Lightspeed Research, Chris served in business development and financial analysis roles at Honeywell International. He also spent eight years in the U.S. Navy's Submarine Force.
Chris holds a B.S. in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
